How can I help you?
I can help with emotional and practical support for mum, partner and baby. Newborn care guidance, light housekeeping for mother and baby. Baby and toddler sleeping practice. and Breastfeeding and bottle feeding assistance.
How much help can I request?
You can request my help for as little as a few days, weeks or up to several months, each broken down into individual sessions, all depending on your needs. Each session is a minimum of 4 hours at £30 per hour before 9pm. Hence, a typical request and booking might be for 4 lots of 4 hour day sessions. Sessions ideally requiring 7 days notice to book but can be flexible. In case of financial hardship - please still contact me and we can discuss your particular circumstances.
What are your booking & payment terms?
To secure a booking a 25% deposit is required. Outstanding payment is required in advance of agreed sessions. Usually 28 days notice required for cancellation with a full refund - but flexible.
Do you offer overnight help?
Yes, overnight help is available for your rest and recharge - at £35 per hour between 9pm-8am.
Do you offer help getting my baby or toddler to sleep?
Yes, I have much experience in helping you, to help your baby or toddler to gain a good sleep pattern.
Can you help with breastfeeding or bottle feeding challenges?
Absolutely! I provide hands-on breastfeeding support and guidance to help you and your baby succeed. This includes bottle feeding alongside breastfeeding.
What if I live a long way from Newbury?
Please still contact me and we can see if we can work it out. I may need to request additional charges for travel time and travel expenses incurred.
Special gift option?
Why not suggest a gift option to a friend or grandparent? 4 x 4 hour sessions (£400) While a high-quality pram or cot may serve you well for a season, the support and guidance of a postpartum doula can leave a lasting impact for years to come.
