Breast and Bottle Feeding
“Bella’s patient & practical support helped turn early breastfeeding struggles into lasting confidence for this baby and the next.” Izzy. Mother of two

“Bella understood when breastfeeding wasn’t an option, supported me with formula, and helped me bond with my babies” Anon. Mother of twins

I offer gentle, inclusive breast and bottle feeding support, recognising that every family’s feeding journey is different. Some parents breastfeed, some are unable to for medical reasons, some choose not to, and some families include two dads — all are equally valid and deserving of support.

Feeding is about so much more than milk. Holding your baby close, looking into their eyes, skin-to-skin when possible, and feeding at that perfect distance of around 8–12 inches all help build connection, comfort and bonding, whether feeding by breast or bottle.

For breastfeeding parents, I offer calm, hands-on support with latching, feeding positions, comfort for the mother, and gentle guidance around nutrition and foods that support recovery and milk supply. Breastfeeding can be challenging at times, but with the right support it can also be deeply rewarding.

As a postnatal doula, my role is to support — never to judge. I work alongside families offering reassurance, practical help and emotional support during what can be a vulnerable and overwhelming period. Whatever your feeding choices or circumstances, you deserve kindness, understanding and informed support.
